Aaron is deeply honored to be serving as the Director for El Centro. He wants to make certain the powerful work of the El Centro community continues to thrive and shine. Aaron has worked in higher education since 2007, earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Music Education from Ithaca College and his Master of Education in Counseling with a focus in College Student Affairs from Northern Arizona University. He is so passionate about the community served by El Centro and loves building relationships with students, their caregivers, and families (chosen or otherwise). He is from Colorado and loves visiting his family in Aurora, especially his young nephews who inspire him everyday. He lives with his husband and their dog, Walter. Aaron loves learning, playing board games, and spending time with his husband, Jamey.

Nallely Dominguez Holguin

Nallely was born and raised in Thornton, Colorado and is a dog mom to her Corgi, Fiona. In undergrad, while attending a Predominantly White Institutation (PWI), Nallely found her passion in helping students and their families from marginalized backgrounds navigate higher education institutions. Nallely is currently in graduate school majoring in Student Affairs in Higher Education where she hopes to take all her learnings from inside and outside the classroom and apply it to the real world. She is passionate about serving as an advocate and mentor to the communities El Centro serves and believes in the positive impact those that walk into El Centro will have at CSU. Nallely enjoys going to the movies, reading, and trying new food.

Roberto Escamilla

Roberto is deeply committed to building strong relationships and collaborations that benefit the Latinx/é population and will help El Centro get closer to educational equity.  Roberto has been working as an advocate throughout his undergraduate and post-undergraduate career, with a passion for first-generation, limited-income individuals and communities — Oftentimes, spending additional hours outside his full-time job meeting with students in order to mentor them and support them.  He is a member of the Nu Alpha Kappa Fraternity, Inc., where he served as president while earning his Bachelor’s in Sociology with a Minor in Mexican-American Studies from our neighbor, the University of Northern Colorado.  He is coming to CSU from the United Way of Weld County where he served as a Housing Navigator.
