Aaron is deeply honored to be serving as the Interim Director for El Centro.  Since he is starting in the middle of an academic year he is committed to ensuring this time of transition is as smooth as possible.  He wants to make certain the powerful work of the El Centro community continues to thrive and shine.  Aaron has worked in higher education since 2007, earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Music Education from Ithaca College and his Master of Education in Counseling with a focus in College Student Affairs from Northern Arizona University.  He is so passionate about the community served by El Centro and loves building relationships with students, their caregivers, and families (chosen or otherwise).  He is from Colorado and loves visiting his family in Aurora, especially his young nephews who inspire him everyday.  He lives with his husband and their dog, Walter.  Aaron loves learning, playing board games, and spending time with his husband, Jamey.
