Pláticas

Pláticas! Pláticas (Conversations) are a student-facilitated dialogue series for students to discuss current issues and topics that impact the Latinx/é community. This is meant to be an engaging and interactive space where participants are encouraged to delve into critical dialogue and learning regarding the topic of the week. Past topics have included: Social Class in the Latinx Community, Anti-Blackness, Colorism, Mental Health, Privilege, Afro-Latinx Identity. Topics are selected by El Centro staff and we always welcome any feedback/suggestions for topics that would be critical for discussion.
